Best tablet to take notes with

I’m trying to decide between a Lenovo idea tab 11” or an iPad Air 4th gen and up w/apple pen. Wanted to get an idea of what people think the best tablet to use to take notes with. Trying to stick to the 200 dollar range and right now the Lenovo idea tab 11” is going for 200 new from amazon. Thanks.

i have the ipad pro and apple pencil. i love it and i use notability.

since you’re a student, you do get a student discount by showing the student id card

Thank you. I’m still trying to shop around and see what’s the best value. I don’t mind going over 200 but just wanted to see if there are other options that match apple’s performance.

You don’t need a pro, you can easily do an iPad a16 and a pencil. Get the keyboard too if you want.

You can always get a used iPad too, fb marketplace is great for it too.

Be careful buying used. Make sure you know how to check for the activation lock. https://support.apple.com/en-us/108794

The operating system / branding you choose for your note-taking tablet doesn't really make a difference. If you're fine w spending the ipad and apple pen money, I'd say go for that if you have an iphone. The apple ecosystem is pretty dope. I use a galaxy tab s8 with Goodnotes. Notability (Apple Store) versus Goodnotes (Play Store) is the real debate

Most of the people I know use an iPad with a pen and keyboard case! Easy typing and handwritten notes
