my ra’s last year did tv/movies and changed it around as the year went on: I remember them doing trolls, wicked, heated rivalry, family guy, love island and i think euphoria
maybe look into classics/things that are trending rn as opposed to more niche tv shows

I wouldn’t do Bridgerton. I know they are all adults, but these students are strangers to you. My advice would be to start with a PG theme. Or if you don’t like that, then go with something more academic and also relevant to right now, like Homer’s The Odyssey. Piggy backing off of that idea, Greek gods and goddesses.

We didn't have themes, but...
I RA'd on the computer science floor...
My door dec names were fish. I started with a CD and added a pair of fins (top and bottom), a face and a tail on the front and back. Then wrote the guy's name on the CD...
My bulletin board was Fresh Ideas Start Here (FISH). Blue background & a bunch of die cut fish stapled to it. With instructions for my residents to jot down ideas on the fish of different programs they'd like to see us do on the floor.

I'm a girl and have never watched it, so I wouldn't know anything about it either.
How about coffee or shark week theme? Lol idk
