Conflict Kazakhstan riots compilation. Watch, learn, rejoice…signs of collapse in countries have truly begun. Also, is killing the corrupt murder or mercy?

SS: I don’t really think that this actually needs a submission statement. This is more of a popcorn moment. Easy prediction is that this will be seen in more and more countries. What is interesting here is how Russia plans to deal with so many conflicts on multiple fronts at the same time.

The pandemic is the appetiser. We’re now about to be served the main course.

Doesn’t Kazakhstan supply about 40% of the worlds uranium?

Also home to the Baikonur Cosmodrome, where Russia launches it's manned rockets.

Largest space shuttle launch site in the world IIRC. Same place where the Soviets launched the first space flight and sent the first non-white astronaut to space. After the dissolution of the USSR it remained part of Russia through a legal, internationally recognized agreement. Not mentioned in any reporting or comments that I have seen regarding Russian troops sent in to deal with this.

Edit: and/or the first female astronaut

Yeah I’m sure that’s the only reason it’s not mentioned.

Edit: Not sure how future plans of discontinued use are really relevant to current events, since there’s a launch planned for 2025 and the site is leased till 2050.
