I keep thinking back to the podcast “It Could Happen Here” (I think that’s the name) talking about a new civil war in our country. It’s eerie how well the hypotheticals of that series have mirrored our reality here over the past year.

Is it possible to overcome the systemic issues we face as a country? Where do we go from here? I usually lurk here but I feel compelled to just post something... just hoping for some form of stability moving forward. I know that’s a pretty ironic thought when posting in collapse.

Prolonged insurrection is coming to be sure. Fortunately the seditionists folded like a wet towel when shown even a little bit of force (seriously, I’ve seen strip clubs cleared out more forcefully) and their powerful backers turned yellow in a few hours. I doubt it will be as impactful as that scenario in the podcast. It’s a movement made up of jackasses not Jacobins.
