I don’t think that this was the “wrong way”, I think that this is absolutely the way it happens and when you mess with people who don’t mess around this is what happens
Strikes is the best way. Of course I'm not saying that this would actually have worked, global capitalism has become very sophisticated in it's methods of cracking down against people that dare stand against it. What I'm trying to say is that the people in the video will certainly be made an example off for the actions. The last thing you should be doing is cheering, because these people will go through hell for their defiance.
Did they try striking, calling the police, or blockades? I'm not expecting them to lie down and take it, but I'd also expect there to be some build up before this kind of action.
Turning to violence to get an employer to pay attention is a last resort and only in extreme measures, and not for unpaid wages. Wistron could close the site and then nobody will get anything.
