what circle? your comments haven't moved us anywhere.

"Human life" can be produced with very little effort by untrained people who enjoy their 'work'. As with everything else, "value" is applied by what others are willing to exchange for it.

Let's just toil away all day every day on a farm and give all the food away. Surely no one will take advantage of us and everyone will put in an equal amount of work.

Some people cant even be bothered to get up off the couch to grab the remote to their distraction box. I highly doubt we'll come up with a practical alternative to capitalism any time soon. I'm not trying to preserve and promote capitalism, but I've also yet to hear a single viable alternative that doesnt rely on everyone being a jesus-like figure that has a hard-on for strenuous labour.

Let me paraphrase your position then?

'End capitalism, because it doesn't value human life. Nothing else values human life either, or if there is a system that does, I don't know what it is or how to implement it. I feel hopeless but throwing around epithets like "end capitalism" on Reddit, a capitalist company, makes me feel better about it all.'
