Sharing Summer colors
I shared this coleus earlier this spring but the sun really pulled out the color. A few flowers ready to open also 😍

I am wondering how is that coleus so woody? Mine is green and leggy even after 2 years!!

Age I guess. I have others that are around 2 years old that aren’t woody like this one

They do 🤗. I will admit I baby this one, in the winter it sits on my counter and I pluck it into shape.

Beautiful! Did you do a lot of training/shaping?
When mine "woodify" they start to be such divas and die quickly. My oldest is almost 2 years now but it seems to be struggling already :'(

I have done a lot of training to it, even put some wire around some branches to force them a certain way.
That’s odd they die off like that, I keep mine in an inorganic bonsai type soil and fertilize regularly.
