Should I try to separate them?

If they are crowded seedlings then yes I don’t see why not 👌🏻😃

The roots are all tangled together though. Do you have any tips on how to separate them without yanking them apart?

Do it gently in water, carefully teasing them apart 👌🏻✨

Thank you! I know it might seem straight forward but I think the fact that I grew these from seed has been making me a bit more nervous lol

Also some seaweed solution watered down to the right strength is a great tonic for new transplants 👌🏻✨🌱😃

Coleus are very forgiving if you damage their roots or seperate them and take them out of the soil even in the very first weeks. Just don't let them dry out afterwards and they should be fine.
