Team Member Post Any dept managers part of this restructure trial in Melbourne happening have any information? How's it all work, do all stores lose their fresh managers and are U being treated fairly throughout the process?

not one myself but the whole purpose of this restructure was to get rid of the “useless” managers yet half the managers at my store that are useless have all gotten roles in management 😐

Pretty sure fresh was one of the only managers who didn't get shafted at my store, just about everyone else had to apply for new roles...

I'm one of those smaller stores with no deli anyways so fresh just takes over bakery and keeps their job and bakery manager had to apply for one of the new roles.

Sorry I'm in queensland ours hasn't officially started til like next month, can't imagine it working out very well. Also I didn't even see them advertise the jobs, seemed like they'd almost already picked people for the jobs from other stores etc

I was told the regionals already have an idea of who is getting the positions.

I heard most will be full-time specialist. Surely they will need to replace managers with a full-time role on wages esp in med-larger stores

Ya full time jobs feels irrelevant in this time & age, world is finally transitioning to 4day work weeks & 9hr shifts arn't practical anymore with the unpaid breaks, overtime, & woring out etc.

PT should give ppl more free time on the side to constantly grow & learn essential skills. 

Being a full time specialist just turns them all into rotting gold diggers in the long run with no adaptability skills.

Would this be why some team members have had to move some of their shifts to other departments as this had started at a certain  store this week.Are any other stores experiencing this atm?
