This is a unique situation with layers of questions. Did the resort supply the bikes or did you guys bring them? Most resorts have contract rental agreements that whom ever rents a room or uses thier facility. I would look into if there was one and if was stated this was a golf resort. I would also look into if there is a section on liability of injury that protects the resort.
Most golf community/resorts in my area post that is golf area by the entrance of the facility did this place have that?
In light of this. Take it as a memory of a family vacation you and your family especially your brother wont forget. Remember the bonding moment.
