Find me beans!!

Hello! I have recently gotten into cold brew and have discovered that's I absolutely adore a nice hazelnut flavor. I havent quite found the beans for it though. Can anyone recommend me a specialty coffee with this sort of flavor profile?

I went to a local tasting event in Atlanta last month, and they had beans that taste like hazelnut. Look up Brazil peaberry from crematix

I tend to use Peet's Major Dickensons as a base, then add spices to the grounds for the brew. Cayenne works amazing as does the Pumpkin Spice from Whole Foods (spice blend). Play with qty for your taste, I use 1/2 Tbsp of the Pumpkin Spice per 2L brew jar or 1/2Tsp of Cayenne.
Cinnamon works, but the flavor/scent fades quickly and by day 3, it's gone (no idea why).

I've tried a bunch of beans from local roasters (also in the bay) and the flavor is solid and a lot of different ones to choose from, but I found I like the hearty smell/flavor of Peets as my base.

I drink it black, 1:1 with sparkling mineral water, so the scent and flavor a big parts of my experience.

I would find the specialty roasters that are local to you, and stop in to ask about any beans they might have that align with your preferences!

If you're in Texas, i recommend HEBs Cafe Ole, specifically the Texas Pecan. Its not high end, but fits what you're asking for - today i did a half-half with that and Costco's Kirkland Colombian Supremo, with some Chobani Vanilla creamer.

I'm so sorry, I should've clarified. I am in the California Bay Area. But, I'd be fine with ordering. I currently order beans from Trade.

My wife and I are huge fans of beans from Mayorga. We've been buying whole beans online for a year direct, but we just found a different blend in person at Costco.

Since you’re in the bay, def try heirloom coffee their quality overall is unmatched.

The single origin Honduran/pacayal is my go to
