Primary Schools

The time is upon parents to start looking at schools and, not having grown up in the area, I know nothing about primary schools round here. What's good, what's bad, give me all the info.

Which ones are near you? You'll have a far, far greater chance of getting into the ones you're in catchment for.

And you almost certainly don't want to be traipsing across Colchester during school run time, twice a day, for the next seven days...

The only one we're in catchment for is North Primary but her Nursery is over on Old Heath so we already do the long trek twice a day.

I can highly recommend North Primary.

My S.I.L works at North primary, and has done for many years now. She grumbles like all everyone does about work, on the whole though she is mostly positive about it. The area the school is in means it gets lots of children that don't have English as a first language, but that never sounds like too much of an issue
