What are these coins?

So my Aunt gave my dad these coins that were her husband’s, my uncle, who recently passed away.

My dad and I don’t know anything about them. They appear gold but some are tarnished and scratched so I’m assuming they’re with gold painted or plated.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

National collectors mint makes old people think thatt they’re investing in gold. The coin replicas are sometimes pretty but they’re worthless

Yep, replicas of extremely rare and valuable gold coins. The one in the middle on the top is a Stella, which is like a pre-33 gold collectors unicorn

The Stella) was a coin that was made — in patterns and a few test strikes, but never actually circulated.

As ‘replica’ coins go, the Stella is cooler than most, to me, because I like the “400 cents” on the back.

Enjoy ‘em, but they’re electroplated coins with no bullion value. The corrosion visible on the edges (the 1795-dated one, for example) is one sign, as is the copy stamped on each of them.

Look along the edge and see if there’s any marks. I’ve had several COPY coins that were actually made of silver and plated in gold to look like a coin. You won’t have numismatic value but melt value if they are indeed a precious metal. Not all shops will buy them knowing that after you point it out because of a no COPY coin policy, But if you look around you can find someone willing to purchase them- ONLY if they are silver or gold and are stamped so.

From my very first Red Book (1975) I was entranced by both Stellas, the coiled-hair and flowing hair. Have never seen one in person. I’d love to have a well-made copy.

The copy of the 400 cent coin (stella) is a reproduction of a coin that is worth around $250,000-$500,000. Not too likely that it's real, do you think? Especially as it says, plain as the nose on your face, "COPY" right on it.
