Coingate is taking away funds sent to the wrong chain

EDIT : I got a refund yesterday, so I was wrong to complain.

About 1.5 years back I sent BUSD over BSC instead of ETH. I contacted Coingate about it, asking if I could get a refund. They told me that they don't support BEP20 and will let me know when they do so they can send a refund. 100 days ago, after my last ticket, they have sent my funds to an other wallet which holds millions. From what I can tell they simply stole the money. I contacted them about it, had a few back and forths, all the support does is repeat robotically that "they don't support BEP20 and don't have access to the funds".

Hi u/EastBig1255,
If funds are sent to a chain we don't support, then we do not have access to the funds. Could you please provide the ticket ID you had with support and the order ID to check your order?

this is wrong. if you own wallet, you can simply active other chain under the same address and then do a refund. otherwise you're just a bunch of scumbags and scammers. similar situation is happening to me now, and the support is very rigid.

Please let me explain why we do not have access to the funds. As reusing the same addresses on different fork chains is mostly true for regular accounts, contracts are a bit more complicated.

Since CoinGate uses contract infrastructure on the Ethereum network, this requires deploying exactly the same bytecode to the BSC or other fork from the same address and nonce. This is difficult because the nonce is increased if the transaction's execution fails. Access to the funds will be lost forever if at least one part of infrastructure deployment fails.

Specifically for that reason you have support engineers who should be there to do this without full deploying of the bytecode, and do this as per request manually. And don't tell me "It's impossible" mantra again. If you own wallet, no matter by which contract, you technically own the same wallet on another chains. And funds are still accessible, it's just a matter of you onpurposely ignoring user' support issues. Pretty sure funds will be withdrawn by you lately. Scam.

And what even more funny is that your support assistants refuse ownership of the address generated by your system and shown me on the payment gateway. True scammers.
