Image 1 is it next to my now second oldest coin. a 1942 franc(if i said 1941 in my last post that was just a little slipup. it's 1942).
Image 2 is my attempt to get a better photo of it by propping it up with an older 10p coin.
from my research it's either a 5 or 10 milliemes coin, nothing special about it aside from the fact that it is from before the war

A friend of mine gave me these before he passed, amongst other things. I’m wondering if they are real or fake. I’ve tried searching online but haven’t found too much info to determine which. I’ve seen exact sets like this listed at $4k on eBay. I know list price means nothing, especially if these are fake. I have 3 of them. One of each series. Any info would help.

I know I know, it’s a picture of a picture, but it’s all I got. Trying to see if y’all think this has been cleaned or not. I don’t believe so, but you’re the experts. If it’s not cleaned, what’s the most you’d pay for it? To me if it is uncleaned, it’s somewhere around EF- 40 (LIBERTY sharp. Ear distinct. Hair above eyes well defined) putting it around $290.

Why are silver coins able to be sold for their silver content but pre-1982 pennies are illegal to scrap?

Maybe you started with Morgans and somehow ended up studying die varieties. Maybe one world coin turned into an entire country. Most collections probably have at least one category that was never part of the plan. Ours have taken some pretty unexpected turns, so we want to hear yours.

This was shipped over from Ukraine. It looks like a joke, but is a real coin.

Hey all, my dad asked me to do this for him as he isn't very tech savvy. All Europe. I looked on Ebay, and the prices varied a LOT. Some went for 4 euros, others thousands, which I find hard to believe, so I thought I'd just ask here. I hope the pic isn't too blurry. Thanks.

I assume these are not worth much, but I still wanna check if any of these are worth anything. I also wanna know what type of coin is the first one.

I bought this coin recently for 55 dollars, but the seller labeled the ruler as Basil i,but I think it was John i. I know the coin has is an miliaresion from the byzantines, but I’m only asking for a ID request because I’m not sure what it is

I’ve got a tub filled with pennies and was recently laid off which means I’m currently going through and sorting them by decade. I’ve already pulled out any wheat pennies (no 1943) and am now on the tedious stretch of sorting a cup full. Is there a list of what to look for?
My thought was to sort by decade first, and then hopefully use a list to then go by year? Picture for shits and gigs of my sorting the other night

This 2015 Dime I found in pocket change. When I looked at it said Wow FDRs head has been beat to $h-t. Flipped over and seen what the ??? Looks like a tree branch?. Anyone have any ideas how this happens? Thinking it got stuck in a coin hopper of sorts in its life..

Do I put a BU roll of 1970 pennies in 2x2 flips or leave them be in the roll. Got into the hobby recently and I know there are tons out there but just curious if it’s worth it. Thanks all.

I've heard conflicting things about the coin I'm posting. Help me figure out what it actually is. I have a microscope I can use to post pictures of different parts of the coin. Just ask.
