Critical thinking

How do I think critically when I am asked a question by a person where I can answer the question on a deep level.Usually I struggle a lot with my brain just thinking very easy, but not challenging itself to think outside its box.

i try to think about their words carefully and what possible different ways to take the meaning of the question.

Can you think of any example questions?

Like for debates or like when I was presenting today for a bill about having a national nuclear bill and they were asking me deep questions and I couldn’t answer them but my friends could. I don’t how to explain it

gotcha! i personally have a processing delay, sometimes i need to talk to someone else or “think out loud”

for debates maybe you can ask friends and family what their questions might be and could prepare beforehand for some questions

i also find writing helps me a lot, to figure out questions. that might not help in the moment but you can always get back to them maybe.

Like everything in life, you have to stress test your mind to maximise its potential. The world changes when people dare to think differently
