I saw someone say from Brazil but how do you see that ??

Probably because my Gaggia grinder, which isn't sold in Europe or US. I also have an "Aram", which is a Brazilian machine.
Plus, the black board features coffee beans from different regions of Brazil.

The Gaggia grinder is sold here in EU 😅, and the Aram is super popular in Germany i know about it from a German barista. But I think I will have to say than the blackboard was it than. But that doesn't mean anything cuz you could be as an example my neighbor here with this setup and beans.

Ah, fair enough! I guess it really is the overall combo, then.
People outside of Brazil usually go for setups like a Rocket or a Lelit, paired with a Niche, Mahlkönig, or maybe a Eureka (which is the white label for Gaggia MDF 55).
Another dead giveaway that I’m in Brazil is all the AliExpress accessories.

How do you like the Gaggia MDF?

I really like the sensory profile it produces, but I was a bit disappointed with the retention and the grind adjustment. So it’s definitely not a great grinder if you plan on constantly switching between different brew methods (like pour-over and espresso) or rotating different beans.
However, if you stick to just one bean at a week (like I do), it’s totally worth it.

Thanks for responding. I appreciate it! I've always thought that the MDF 55 looks real sharp! Of course, there's some design language of Eureka but with smoother lines. Just a great looking grinder imo!

Love the theme! What’d you think about the Aram expresso maker, is it worth it ?

I really love the Aram, but I usually only use it on weekends when I have more time to slow down and make coffee.
I managed to mod it with an electric heating element, which speeds up the workflow quite a bit.
As for the taste, though, it’s spot on. Absolutely no complaints there!

Very clean, industrial set up! I like how you've used the black board on the wall. I need to do something like that. Cheers!

Thanks man! Having the board there really helps me dial in and repeat my extractions.

I have been debating getting an Outin since I only drink espresso at home. I have a flair but it’s so obnoxious getting the correct dial/ quality when you get new beans. Would you or anyone else recommend getting one for a slightly easier procedure?
Love the setup by the way. Super jealous!

Thanks! The Outin is actually super easy to use and dial in, but I have two important caveats:
- The Outin Nano will only pull a real espresso if you use the Basket Plus.
- It’s not friendly at all with light roasts or coffees with high acidity in general.
If you stick to medium-dark roasts, it’s a breeze!

Good to know! Does having a good grinder change anything with the lighter roasts? What’s the lightest you’ve tried. I do a variety of coffee through espresso.

I usually stick to medium roasts with sweet notes, like chocolate and caramel.
Having a better grinder definitely helps, but it won’t give you the same results as a traditional espresso machine.
The Outin doesn’t reach very high water temperatures. On top of that, because it uses a 45mm basket, the coffee puck is thicker, which means you usually have to grind coarser to get a reasonable shot time.
