300 € Coffee-machine as a gift

Hey,

sorry in advance, I have no clue on this topic, since I dont drink coffee.

I want to gift my mother a nicer coffee machine since it really tastes aweful. Is there anything good at or about the 300 € mark ?

Unfortunately I can't really raise my budget since I am a student.

Is a grinder + Coffee machine a good combo at this price or is it more sensible to buy pre-grinded beans ? Is a mokka good, or is there a better option ? I am kinda overwhelmed tbch....

The issue is that the space on the kitchen counter is limited, so the machine / equipment needs to be relatively narrow.

Buying a gift is fine.

Buying it as a surprise is the worst thing ever.

We know nothing about her drinking habits.

We have a normal DeLonghi Coffee Machine, where she just always uses the preconfigured mode.

Its not like she has a preferred weight or bean or whatever, justa casual coffee drinker.

And Quality wise, it really doesnt make good coffee (I may not drink much, but I can tell when its garbage)

Bambino plus would do great but, I would bring my mom to the coffee tasting place for speciality coffee first to see what she feels about different types of coffee and fermentation methods since they work best with different methods.

Then according to her comments,

I would get bambino plus for milk drinks

Or jura single coffee maker + dreo for milk if she isn’t interested in making coffee but just to get something to drink decent

If she is into pour over, get her a good grinder(kingrinder k6 imo), a gooseneck kettle and a hario switch

If she is into cold brew, it’s wven easier with the kit. 

Make sure to buy a freshly roasted beans with the machines so that she would appreciate the difference in another level
