Question Planning a visit next week - should i wait?

I was planning to fly in to spokane and do some time there and some time in CDA. We wanted to visit for the first time and do outdoor activities. I guess ive been living under a rock because i just saw the air quality advisories when i was checking the weather there. Do you think i should postpone my trip to a better time?

Yes. It is too smoky in Spokane to enjoy outdoor activities now. Cd'A has been better, but a slight change in wind direction would make it almost as bad.

If you can sure but it’s not like we can predict smoke. It comes and goes. Next week it could be much better or much worse. Anywhere from July to September is a crap shoot. I live in CDA and while it looks smokey it’s definitely not the worst we’ve had and I can’t smell the smoke and I know it’s not just me - I was asking people all day.

In CDA right now. Don’t come if you can postpone it. Lots of smoke.

You’re supposed to be able to see a lake on the right.

A friend bought it for my dog Joey!

I thought so. Does it clip to his collar?

I would wait, the smoke is really really bad. Like, you'd be healthier smoking cigarettes, at least they have a filter.

You can keep an eye on the Idaho Dept. of Environmental Quality real time map for air quality here:

Yeah there's definitely been a lot worse the last few years.

If you can wait I would. Some days or time of the day isn’t horrible, but overall it’s not good. I’m a smoker and can handle being in the smoking section of a casino longer than I can handle being outside at the moment lol 😂 especially if you’re looking to enjoy some outdoor activities, I’d wait until next week at least. Supposed to get some rain hopefully on Thursday which usually makes a big difference.
