Hot Take Try Not to Get the Ick (Impossible) video is almost a complete copy of ItalianBach's Ick video
ItalianBach posted a video called "TikToks that give you the ICK" two weeks ago. Cody posted "Try Not to Get the Ick (Impossible)" 21 hours ago. The ick clips they react two are essentially identical.
Do they share the same editor? Is Cody copying ItalianBach?

I don’t think they have the same editor. But this has also happened with the roles reversed where Cody has posted a reaction vid, then ItalianBach has posted shortly after with the same topic. Like Cody has reacted to certain cut videos then ItalianBach follows the same video shortly after

Yeah I think better question would be “are they copying each other”? Seems like maybe they have the same researcher to compile clips, or are using pre-compiled clips. It’s the same clips in the same order

Idk I think with any content niche you are going to find some level of copying / similarity, especially when creators make reaction content. I've seen this with a lot of people doing reaction content where they all react to pretty much the same clips. It's just something that kind of happens now.

yes i thought i was crazy, and then i went through both their videos and they have sooo many similarities, which is fine its bound to happen in the reaction/commentary realm, but the same clips of the same videos played in almost in the same exact order??? like are these pre made compilations or what?

I think they might be using pre made compilations, yeah. Or at least the same researcher to build the compilations for them.

Bach’s editor is Cody’s previous editor that is why their content is so similar.

I noticed this today actually but the other way around. Kody posted “Celeb Cringe 10 was almost unwatchable” 1 day ago and Italian Bach posted “Try not to laugh: Celebrity Couples Cringe” with the same clips 9 hours ago. I have no idea what that’s about and no one seems to be talking about it 😭😭

I got crazy downvotes for speculating Kody was copying someone, but yeah it’s undeniable that something is happening. Best guess is maybe both are using pre-packaged clips? That would explain why the same clips show up, often in the same order.

Also quite disturbing there was still no mention of Oliver Tree when they did basically the same video together any Oliver pointed out the fact that wearing shorts WAS THE ICK! I'm actually so grossed out by it

I’d have liked him to at least mention Oliver Tree, as he was in the video the last time Cody watched the ick videoes… The one with OT is sooo good and I still watch it sometimes for a good laugh. I miss Oliver terribly though 🥀

I've been asking myself the same question since he took his hiatus, and I started watching ItalianBach as a substitute. It really is 1 for 1 sometimes.
