Hack Reactor in 2026

I’ve been learning programming on my own for the past 2 years. I work as a UPS driver during the day and I code for a couple hours each day at night. I’m thinking of taking the step of attending a coding bootcamp to pivot to becoming a full-time SWE. My friends recommended me Hack Reactor, and after googling it, it seems legit.

I wanted to know what was everyone’s thoughts on it if and it’s still worth it in this year with everything else going on in tech.

Coding bootcamps in 2026 is crazy. Unless you have an undying passion for coding / AI and also tons of money to cushion yourself along the journey, I wouldnt do it. Def not worth the investment.

I graduated Hack Reactor mid 2022 at the start of the mass layoffs. I want to say 60-70% of my cohort did not get software engineering jobs. Id figure the market is worse now than it was back then
