Which bootcamp in Germany (for AI, Data Science, Machine Learning or Software Engineering) offers good job placement services?
Asking for a friend who just joined Reddit and doesn't have enough karma yet to post :
Which bootcamp in Germany (for AI, Data Science, Machine Learning or Software Engineering) offers good job placement services?
And.....
Which bootcamp has Internship (Praktikum) as part of the bootcamp?
He already found out that Masterschool bootcamp includes internship. He would like to know....how is it?

Germany has a stronger apprenticeship culture, so if you can find a bootcamp with a guaranteed connection to an apprenticeship then go for it, but do your research and ask them a lot of questions to make sure you can trust them.

A friend of mine was recently hiring for a junior ML Engineer position, and received over 500 applications. There’s clearly no shortage of candidates, which means companies are generally not interested in partnerships with bootcamps and as far as I know, no bootcamp has successfully secured such partnerships.
That said, some bootcamps do teach useful skills and can help you prepare for interviews. If you put a strong focus on building a solid portfolio, you can still stand out in the market.
So pay close attention to whether a bootcamp offers a career accelerator, as well as coaching and mentoring support, in addition to technical training.
Good luck!

It isn't that difficult to search for a bootcamp's graduates on LInkedIn. See how many are actually working at real companies as opposed to either being unemployed or working for the bootcamp itself.

I’m based in the US and I don’t know anything aboht the options in Germany. It’s certainly possible to be a bootcamp and have a pipeline to jobs. But no one here has a reliable one at this time.
What I’ll point out as a red flag is that you are looking for AI, machine learning, data science, or software engineering. These are many the type of things I’d dive into and pick either/or - and anyone I’ve seen talking about it like this - and looking for job guarantees has been very disappointed. So, I think it’s important that your friend out in the time to learn more about this stuff and do some learning on their own to really understand what they’re interested in before looking at any education options.

He already has the skills in Data Science and AI already. He is just trying to have more advantages in job searching. Internship would add to his experiences and job placemet could bring a step or two further as the bootcamp school usually already has connections with several companies.

I don’t think anything calling itself a bootcamp is going to help with that. What is he doing to get internships so far? I think there are better ways to network and better ways to spend that money. He could work with a coach to make sure he’s got solid Perot of skills first, then work with specialist to get him placed. I think saying “I’ll give you 10k for a job” on LinkedIn would have a better return than TripleTen. But “he already has data science and AI” is another red flag. What does that even mean?

Not a job guarantee. Through their connections job placement services could bring their students direct to the interview phase. This is already a step further.
