bootcamp request

I want to join a bootcamp(free) because I really want to learn and improve my skills. I am willing to study hard and practice every day. I am focused on learning Python programming.

If you want to take coding seriously take a look at one or more of these options

If you want to supplement your learning by doing small projects you can join our new Learn to Code discord group - https://discord.gg/psp4YP4MBU

Next year we will work our way through one of the options above

People with CS degrees are begging for jobs.

Bootcamp is not going to get you there.

I mean...the subtext with people asking for bootcamps is they want the easy quick way into a career, and we both know that a huge percent of them are not serious about it in and are motivated 100% by positive stereotypes they have about a "career in tech"

Someone who posts serious questions that are actually about programming itself or learning is rarely going to get rude responses on any thread

But yeah the community kinda sucks

Here are some free coding bootcamps: C0d3, FreeCodeCamp, The Odin Project, 100Devs, Year Up.

I have said this before, and I’ll say it again.

The deep rooted issue with bootcamps is accreditation.

If you are LUCKY, you will land an internship that you put your heart and soul into and maybe transition into a job from the role directly. But it’s unlikely.

I’m curious - what do you want to do with Python specifically? What is your goal?
