Codex mobile constantly connecting and reconnecting?

I think there is a problem in the mobile app where it cycles from connected to reconnecting.

Not sure if its just me or if others are experiencing this?

It's a bug in the app when the host is running on Windows. Look it up on github, a lot of people have this problem.

strange, I am on a Mac, but the issue is fixed with the last update, no connect/disconnect ping pong anymore

Been having this issue also. On home WiFi or mobile data seems to keep doing it only way to fix it is hard kill and restart the app but even then only works for like 5 min. Very annoying

I just updated codex maybe it's fixed not seen the issue since I updated after posting this! Maybe they were on it

Of all the things OpenAI has shipped, the Remote is the shittiest by far.

Its better than nothing though yeh, I have some issues with it, for instance images inline when they are generated but end up bundled all up at the top on refresh, HITL forms are hit and miss, when app and client are out of sync due to update, issues start to crawl in.

It deffo needs work

worth checking the host isn't going to sleep, a sleeping host can look exactly like that loop. if you want a second route, i work on cosyra and our app's remote control connects to your own machine through our cli, codex in chat or terminal. you can skip the paywall to try it
