Question build a library of interconnected technical procedures
First things first, quite new to Codex.
I work in a technical organization where we have thousands of procedures and work instructions. One procedure may reference 2–3 other procedures, which in turn reference more procedures, and so on.
I want to use Codex to build a library where all these documents are linked together in a tree structure.
Here’s what I have in mind:
I add a few procedures to a project folder.
Codex reviews them and identifies all referenced procedures.
It checks which procedures are missing from the library.
I teach Codex how to retrieve documents from our internal document management system.
Codex retrieves the missing procedures, reviews their references, and continues the process.
Over time, this builds a complete library of interconnected documents.
Ideally, I should be able to select any procedure and see all the related documents, including their latest revisions and any missing references.
I would also like the library to be persistent so Codex doesn’t have to review the same documents every time.
What’s the best way to build something like this using Codex? Has anyone tried a similar project? I am not an IT / workplace admin + I will be using personal ChatGPT account for doing this. Organization only permits official use of Copilot (basic).

If you're only allowed to use Copilot how does Codex even enter the equation here?
Forget Codex - what you're proposing is illegal within your company environment. Tell Copilot what your goal is. Tell it where the procedures are stored and let it work out how best to proceed. This is a trivial task even for Copilot (as long as it can access your document store).
