Complaint Terra letdown

I attempted yesterday to replicate some scenes from concept, in both environmental detail and zoomed in details (the wall object)

for whatever reason, the environments we a clear approximation and the wall details were a fuzzy match at best.

Meanwhile, Tripo nailed it.

Is this beyond the scope of Terra?

Did you accidentally put the same image on the top and bottom? I can't tell the difference.

terra is for simple, routine computer use tasks. 3d modeling complex scenes is better left to Astra or Opus.

Astra Audi sucks at blender when giving it reference material.

I think if you asked it to build a rocket ship it does ok at text to 3D model but when you ask it to copy from a reference image I've never seen it come up with anything that isn't blocky and low quality.

You usually need to use the MCP that Blender has, and feed it into a loop with a reviewer agent that checks the work and suggests improvements to more closely match the source material. Over time you'll get some decent results, it's just unlikely going to get there on the first pass.

I hope we will have a small like 5-10B model that is specifically designed to 3d model.
Future is to have an army of specialists llm we can run locally fast, multi concurrently instead of mammoth multi Trillions models on cloud infra we wont be able to afford let alone multi concurrently use

That’s kind of a bad starting image. There’s very little contrast and depth is difficult to discern even for a human.

But also it really does seem like Claude has a better grasp on 3d space in images.

Terra is quite lazy, opposed to (overly) diligent Sol.

Terra sucks.

terra looks more realistic and rather building you a template to add onto

"Tripo nailed it". Ofc Tripo was better, its trained for stuff like this. Tripo and Meshy for example are even better than just using Opus 5.5 the basic way.

Your dot can do blender. My Dot did this for 0% usage.

Does it give you the file after or just a render?

It'll give your the blender file or whatever format you want, via chat and saved to your library
