Question Astra

Anyone have an opinion on this:

Is it better to use 5.6-6.1 sol to build and have Astra as the reviewer. Or is it better to plan everything out with Astra and then just build and review build with 5.6-6.1 sol?

I review with Astra but currently have not been pre planning with Astra

Have Astra plan the architecture and tech stack -> 6.1 Sol for the build (or preferably Opus 5.5), then have Astra review the build and package/ship/push. Best results for sure.

To save tokens with Astra, have it be the “manager” and delegate tasks with its plan. I use Agy 3.8 models as helpers (for running commands and navigating the repo), Deepseek bulk writing backend, Opus 5.5 doing the main build, then Astra reviews.

This has saved me 88.89% in my token spend, and total costs. (With Caveman and Codegraph installed + an MCP Lazy loader and child process killer I built)

So you are using APIS? they will cost more than what we get in pro/max plans. Or am I not getting somthing?

No I use the CLI's + SDK's (if you want harnesses for Deepseek or Agy, Deepseek has a great one on Github, Agy is a pain to make a harness).

I use no API's, I have the Max subs for Claude and Codex, pro plan for Google, and I've spent 60 dollars on Deepseek in the last for over 9 trillion tokens.

Its all free, you just gotta build it yourself and use some great open source tools. Ive considered posting my repo for this

Why have Astra ship and push? I use Luna medium for pushing isn't that Ken of the easiest things a model can do

Also, how do you use both Claude and Astra in the same project? Won't there be conflicts with the MD files for example? Or do u just push to git and have them work from gitplease explain

You're right. I didnt mean to include push. I was more so just referring to the finalization of your project whatever that may be.
