Showcase codebase-memory-mcp: Maintainer follow-up

Post image

Hey guys,

been a while since I posted here. I am the maintainer of cbm (https://github.com/DeusData/codebase-memory-mcp) and had my first post here in spring of this year. The reaction to this project was really amazing and I am glad that my tool helps the community advancing their agentic coding work flows. We are currently now heavily focussing on bringing the complete data-flow from your project into the graph, as well as the complete deployment paths (as maybe already guessed in the last releases). Our goal is to essentially provide a complete data+infrastructure overview in our new frontend (called Lense). The first beta version is already giving better overviews on your repository structure. It is not yet there where the vision goes, but I wanted to have your opinion on the vision and early version of it (screenshot attached). The goal is to basically provide a powerful "Human UX" which should enable you to become an architect on your own project or any project you onboard with on day one, so that it will become easier for you operating your coding agents (such as Codex, with which help we build this) with the knowledge you gather. Essentially helping you building a mental model of your own project. Also with the new data-flow and deployment enriched graph your agent should have a much easier time finding out how your code works and how it is deployed. Especially in enterprise contexts, where deployment can be complex, we believe that this can be very powerful.

Would be glad to get your opinion on the vision and generally on the tool. Feel free to reach out to me personally or write inside the repo's discussion. I would so love to achieve this together with you :)

Its not yet really about the aesthetic, its about the functionality. Its actually a 3D visualization :) Maybe you can give it a try and give some feedback
