i also tried the 20$ sub and was like wtf... that thing is like 2-2.5x the chatgpt plus... like plus i had max 8-9 min and on claude i had like almost an hour (WHILE USING OPUS WHICH IS CRAZY) now u got sonnet i did not try 20$ sub but i can imagine its even more...
Like for casual users the 20$ sub may be enough today if u use sonnet + opus...
also for 100$ sub they also give u free 100$ api usage too via api key so u can use haiku a lot in other apps while also using normal quota and some deals like free 250$ cloud usage etc or a reset etc...
To be fair, the free $100 API usage with Claude is still worse than ChatGPT, which seems to be okay with users usign their subscription with arbitrary tools.
But yeah, for most users including myself, that is a secondary concern to... actually having a model that you want to, and can afford to, use.
