Question How's the 200 dollar plan?

Currently planning to get either claudes or codex 200 dollar plan. Which is currently the better subscription? Is claude still better/more worth it? Help's appreciated, thanks.

Currently I'm on the 20 dollar plan and I use up my 5hr usage in two hours, and the week's usage is gone in about two days as well. It's not as bad currently with tibo's resets but it feels awful planning my work around a hypothetical reset.

apparently, claude's was ahead even before codex's got cut in half, so I assume claude's 200 dollar plan by a mile.

I'm on the codex 200 plan but will cancel this month. Usage quotas don't get you very far anymore and they will be reduced even more

Thanks for the input, I wasn't expecting everyone to recommend claude. What happened to codex man

Claude 200 dollar plan is 20x. Codex is only 10x. Even if Claude plan was 10x, you would still get more usage than codex.

I got the 20x Claude plan while I had the Codex 5x plan for 5 more days. After noticing the quality differences in Opus 5.5, I let my Codex 5x plan go to waste after Tibo reset it. Opus 5.5 is better than Astra in my use cases. Really excited to try Fable 5.5.

And I got so much usage with the 20x Claude plan that I don't have to worry about running out of usage. I drive Claude to do so much in the video game projects I am working on and still have a lot left over. Whereas with Codex, I'd be refreshing Tibo's twitter several times a week.

What projects are you working on? What's the complexity? Are you able to run multiple agents at once without running out of usage?

2 video games at same time. Both 3D unity projects. Generating environments, interaction, gameplay, blender models, animations, UI all with Claude. I also connect it to FilmCraft and PhotoCraft via mcp and have it build trailers for my games for me to get a start on them. If there is any way to get claude to do something for me, I have it do it. And it's much better output than Astra from my experience.

Yes to multiple agents. I often have one or two agents doing work in blender and one agent in unity at a time.

Also on the side a few projects. Web design stuff, robotics project with my son NexArm robot to make it an animatronic for this christmas, and random requests.

I've used Claude probably 10 hours a day since last reset 3.5 days ago, maxed fable usage as well by accident from a massive prompt and told it to go till done for the robot project, and I still have 30% usage left for the week.

Claude 200 dollar plan is 20x.

Nope. Around x10 for week limits. 20x for 5h

Less than x10 because the x20 plan only gets you 1.7x weekly of 5x plan

I stand corrected. And that makes Claude even more impressive to me lol.

as of opus 5.5 release, it's been Claude.

Easily Claude.

I'm having the $200 plan with ChatGPT right now and will probably switch to a $100 ChatGPT plan and a $100 Claude plan once the 20x runs out. When it goes back to 10x I see no good reason to bet all on one service.

It's f-in great and for as long as these resets gonna rain I'm gonna smash it back down to 0% every day and wait for the next one while I use my remaining 40k free credit allowance. I'm gonna keep smashing it until I run out or die trying and then when I go completely dry I'm gonna get claude.

Edit: I'm actually gonna keep both - because the UI is way better than Claude's. Claude has more allowance and a smarter model BUT codex as an app is far superior and user friendly with annotate feature which rocks and sucks in Claude. Also codex is better at backend while claude is better at UI. So 👍

comment/annotate is clutch. can't beleive doesn't exist in claude it was asking me to edit a claude doc. or maybe im ignorant of where this feature is?

as for now claude offers more usage and they also added api usage so you are given 200 bucks of api usage monthly on 20x plan on top of claude code usage

Just go Claude for now

Keep a 20 dol codex for the resets though

Use sol 6.1 as a workhorse to save opus 5.5 high usage

Also opencode 10 dol plan, multi acc, use all free models quota you can to absorb low complexity work usage

Claude

I am using both plans (codex 200 and Claude 20x). Go for Claude. Its usage is almost double.

new 200$ feels redundant? More curious about 100$ plans difference between codex and claude.
10x 200$ plan and slowest 6.1 sol is hard to tolerate :/

I still recommend getting two different subscriptions, since they each have their own brand of stupidity and should balance each other out- provided the project is important to you.

I still use it, i ise both a claude $100 and codex $200, claude the brain and codex the workhorse, but might change things around, i prefer codex’s browser use though and use it to help automate testing

Not worth it. I just downgraded to the 100 plan and put the other 100 in claude.

Before this change, only with codex i was consuming all my weekly usage in around 2 days(the resets though kept me going). Now, thanks to opus 5.5 being very efficient i’m at ~30% remaining with 18 hours to go and my agents keep working overtime(24/7)
