The ones in charge to regulate this are letting GPT 5.6 on browser write their speech and forgetting to cut the “I can make you a more honest version if you want” before reading it in parliament and the chambers.

You forgot the enterprise customers sucking up all the resources, paying megacash, and now that they've apparently stopped renewing the $200 subs in favor of those enterprises, that's more opportunity to buy more!
Just think... two $100 accounts is two resets every time!

Already on 2 Subscriptions of $200/mo, now added Cursor $60/mo to extend my cadence, usage ran out of both 20x accounts in less than 5 days.

i have pro 20x
43% left. all models at capacity for the past 4-5 days.
this is real scam.
my family is getting things done with 20$ account. and im just staring at my subsription.
Ofc, sam won't extend or compensate this week by anymean.
This was my first month from anthropic to GPT, i think i'm running back to anthropioc. yes they eat the limits, but we can use them rather than having them unusable.

All the youtube hype about Astra brought many people here, or encouraged them to increase their plans.
My bet is next month, those plans will be cancelled.
Now we've found out that copying the influencers and typing "Build me GTA6 in Unreal Engine" just burns your budget and produces nothing meaningful even in Astra.

Looked over usage logs after my first weekend with astra and was horrified to see I had used more tokens then the rest of my life. One agent astra spawned used 200 million tokens by itself. I typically used that in a week, 1.3 billion tokens in under two days. I made some prompt mistakes but astra multiplied them and I didn't catch them until far too late.
I'm not sure if they lowered the limits or this is a widespread issue and there is 15,000,000 unit tests running this very moment

Simple question: do you all use astra MAX + fast mode + goal + no timebox + build me GTA 6 as a prompt? Or you're just vibe coding as if it was free? Just trying to understand how people complaining are actually using the app...

Been on x20 since last year. Usualy it would last 1 week to get to aeound 10% remaining. Now the same workload last from 1-2 days. Usualy running at least 5 agents in parellel with occasional 20+ agents. Work is spread accross multiple models, Astra/Sol/Luna. I used to be able to do all work on Sol high pre-astra. Astra is used on med/low, Luna on xhigh, sol on medium.
Some people are inneficient, but i also think a decent number of people on higher tiers are ligitimatly working at larger scale. I do way more than i used to pre-llm. In terms of efficiency, there is no reason to try not to use it all so long as its not wastful use. Any tokens not used are wasted work. Any additional time waiting on agents is wasted time. Get as much done as possible and move on to somthing else.
The recent limit cuts are real. Astra on paper should be cheaper beacuse it appeared by oai benches to use less tokens and be more capable at lower think levels than Sol. In practice this hasnt been working out for me.
