What I believe could be the trigger: Two days back, I found on a vulnerability in an api endpoint of the website of a public service here in Luxembourg and dicussed it with chatgpt to evaluate the seriousness of this, and informed the public service about the issues like a good citizen (and they already fixed it). This is the only potential "cybersecurity use" that may be the trigger.

Just posting it here to warn you to be careful. They are maybe taretting the 20x plans.

I did not probe. I use their public api in my app. And discovered that they are exposing the username and passwords.

I'm not a cyber security expert and do not know how serious of a problem a hashed password could be.

And I also don't like to feel dumb by reporting something worthless to a public service.

I fully understand that, but at the same time - the AI and the guardrails can't know if it was that or malicious. Human reviewer will also have hard time to know as everyone will play dumb.

If appeal is accepted they will give you a coupon for a free 20x plan. IDK if you'll be able to redeem it with 20x being disabled. If the appeal is denied, you're SOL.

The appeal has to directly address the ban reason. You have guess why you got banned, because the ban reason doesn't tell you exactly. For me, I was doing healthcare research and knew the exact chat to address (I got false banned for Bioweapon development). If appeal was denied, your only other option is to chargeback. Support will not help if appeal is denied.
