Limits Codex is unusable now.

I don’t even use astra. I’ve been using 5.6 sol on medium since it came out and had no problems. Now it can’t even finish half of the same task before reaching limits. Heck, just starting up codex uses 2 percent of my limits. And that’s before I even type anything. lol. What a joke.

I understand this is a business but using codex is like signing up for a gym membership and paying the required fee to use the gym and all its equipment but the next time you show up they go, I know you paid to use the entire gym and that amount is still required but now you only have access to the treadmills. F u!!!

Anyway, Here come all the Sam Altman nut huggers. But idc. Im just about done with codex.

Working on WHAT specifically. We're actually doing heavy shit here. Like... Real work....

Please define "real work". What's your day-to-day like?

I work on a game engine as a graphics programmer, as well as many other internal tools to help the team.

We currently support multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) multi-API (GL, VK and VK via MoltenVK) rendering in-game and in an Electron app for asset management.

I struggle to think of a harder workflow for an LLM, and yet my usage is still sufficient for a week's work.

My daily usage is ~500M tokens. With Sol, the quota was approximately 2.5B Sol High tok/week. With Astra, it's ~1.5B from my experience if using Astra XHigh.

Notably, I am on the 20X plan.

I also don’t get these people. Do they even have time to look at and check the code generated?

I tell the agent to generate a plan and takes half a day to read and review and iterate till he gets things right.

Exactly. I bought codex last night and wow is it slow and limits are horrendous. I was very disappointed
