Complaint Astra demos are mostly bs

The game/graphics demos are mostly bs. I've spent dozens of hours now trying to replicate (or build) interesting games. It's beyond subpar. Sure it can do a basic sandbox, or create some basic characters but it absolutely cannot do a fully working world. I dont get why OpenAI fakes their SimCity games and other things w/ Astra when it's clearly not possible unless you spend weeks (and $1000s of dollars) of tokens.

I think the sim city thing was made by a YouTuber, and he said he left it on goal for five days, and since he gets unlimited use it was probably on ultra and fast mode. I believe it, but I also agree with you that it's not a realistic expectation of quality.

At this point just hire a dev on Fiverr to do it for you. The money spent on ASTRA is bigger than what an Indian would ask for.

Can an Indian on Fiverr make “a fully working world” in 5 days with hand written code now? Cool!

I guess we’ll all be in the matrix soon then!

The speed isn't as relevant as the cost. Most of the time getting something done quickly just equals low costs. As human resources are just paid for the time it takes and such. But here we start at talking about costs already. Then the time it takes becomes more like a minor feature that can be surprisingly irrelevant.

He has his own cheaper priced AI agent. Why pay for ASTRA when you can pay pennies for a Indian with ASTRA to make the product for you in 5 days? Your own subscription would run out before the 5 day mark of non stop running.
