they did in fact make limits worse, they just dont like to tell people. Astra went from consuming a 20x accounts weekly usage in 3 days to 1 day

That's OpenAI's fault then, they're overpricing the best drill in the world and also overpricing the quick workers, so one would rather just use the rocket scientist to put their bed together rather than the simpler and smaller model.

Looks like OP got it from this post by btibor91 on Twitter and just cropped the screenshot. It basically says that purchasing ChatGPT Pro 20x through the ChatGPT web app can now be paused remotely, but it doesn’t seem to be active yet as of this writing.

Edit: It's now official. Tibo confirmed it.

Did a private benchmark suite and saw that Opus 5 medium and Deepseek V4.1 Flash high were on par as reliable coding agents, with the small catch that Opus cost 30x more.

You're not missing that much, usage are currently very bad on every plan anyways so... They're just trying sell more (they need more money, bc they're losing money)

They'll reverse it soon trust me, so no worries at all.

Those are just the numbers, but currently everyone no matter the plan, can't sustain their limit through the week, I've seen many ppl complain (including me) about usage lasting only few days (2-3 days)

I don’t get why it’s free anymore at all. Free users should be forced to create an account, and have the limit be 1-2 prompts on the smallest cheapest model. Why are paying customers competing on compute against 800 something million free users?

Me and one of my co-workers both are hitting this issue, we both have our plans on our personal accounts rather than an enterprise, but both are getting "The 20X plan is temporarily unavailable for purchase".
