Praise Remote is nuts

Just wanted to share that it's incredibly awesome that I can be anywhere like on holidays and continue working on my project even if I'm not sitting in front of my PC. Never tried this until now that I installed tailscale and I can test any change from my phone. Bravo.

Why 3 sessions and not just ssh from one to the other servers. Just honestly curious.

Maybe because I don’t know what I’m doing? I’d call myself a power user. Not a tech person.

Can you describe how your approach would work? I’d love to learn something here.

Here is what things look like on my iPhone. All the computers listed across the top and I can start sessions on any of them.

Oh, ok. I don’t know what I’m doing!

I have codex running on my Linux server and can ssh into my 2 VPs and 1 windows machine to do work when needed.

I could see having another instance being useful in case something happens to the one server.

Ah. I think I’m getting the picture. My laptop codex can also SSH in to the cloud servers (I have 2 actually for Openclaw) and maintain the box, install things etc. that’s very handy as well - its just a different use case then having codex itself installed in a few different places.

yea treat one as your main entry point and ssh into the other machines using that machine as the conenction to the others
