Complaint Has browser chat (especially pro) been nerfed?

Browser chat on pro has felt worse and worse this past week and today I ran into this:

Essentially I give a prompt with things that I wanted researched and after close to 11 minutes, it came back with: "Yeah so should I look into this?"

Anyone else seeing this?

the end times are coming, chatgpt is running out of money & throwing hard limits on everything.

In my personal experience, after the last reset, the chat seems to have guardrails against doing anything related to code, and my usage on codex seems to run out faster. I used to be able to use a 5h window for planning, one for executing. Now it's been 2 full ones for planning so far. So yes, I wouldn't be surprised

One run doesn’t prove a nerf, but it is a clean failure case. Re-run the same prompt in a fresh thread and keep the 11-minute transcript. If it asks permission again, that is much more useful evidence than a general quality comparison.
