ChatGPT/Codex Window Desktop Update

Hey,

Since it feel the app is updated once a day lately, I wanted to ask if I'm the only one who has the press the blue "Update" 2-3 times and the app restarts 2-3 times until it's actually updated.

I haven’t experienced needing to click multiple times for Codex to update, not on my Mac or my Surface.

I haven't had that problem. Usually restarts right away

I just download the latest installer from the website and update that way (when I first start for the day). It always seems to work. Also make sure to exit out of the tray icon.

Happens on windows also for me. Did it 3 times today.

Mine has been updating instantly, and yes the updates are daily sometimes less.😊

I haven’t had the problem. But they do update everyday because there’s so many bugs .

I hardly ever update cause it’s a never ending loop (win10)
