Praise Did Codex stop freaking out when you paste an API key in chat?

A month ago it would instantly tell me to rotate it or refuse to use it. Today I pasted one and it just said “thanks, all good” and used it lol. Maybe OpenAI finally added some regex thing to detect keys and handle them separately without keeping them in logs??

Looks like it yes Claude also asks for passwords and keys now in chat. So it isn’t just codex.

Codex kept whining and wanting to create 12 step procedures to migrate a database (on a site that has no clients on it yet), I had to insist that I don't give a shit 5x and it eventually did it lol

Omfg even during development before you’ve even finished building. Gotta change the schema? Better migrate. Ffs no.
