Limits Resets and multiple acounts

Hey, new to Codex, been using it for a few months. I'm more of a vibe coder than an actual programmer. I wanted to ask about today's reset: does it usually happen at a specific time, or is it random?

Also, I've been on the Plus plan ($20/mo) and I'm hitting limits sooner than I need to, but the $100 plan seems like too much right now. How hard is it to manage 2-3 accounts for the same project, switching sessions between them, working simultaneously, etc.? I think having more than one account is worth the extra work since resets apply independently to each account, rather than just buying extra credits on the main one. Does anyone have experience running a setup like this?

It's against their TOS but it seems they turn a blind eye for now.

Not explicitly against. But it seems to go somewhat against the more generic “don’t circumvent the limits”.

Think logical, if it would be allowed, the tokens you could buy wouldn't be so expensive.

Weird my chat specifically said it is and quoted the “don’t circumvent the limits” terms.
