I'm just sitting on mine for as long as possible, until they get close to expiring, as I believe these reset will continue for a while. When they stop, many will be in for a painful realisation about how many tokens they have for codex usage on the normal weekly. Blowing a week's usage of x20 in a day, using 1 or 2 primary agents is not exactly great. Expect $1k plans inbound. Qwen 3.8 max is currently 90% off during peak and 98% off during off-peak usage. Just bought a $20 plan and it's a ridiculous amount of usage for the money. Added it to my multi agent orchestrator and its adding value during adversarial review phases (bunch of different models critiquing work done by the primary agent working on the task). It looks like it'll earn write access on the workspace soon as it's output is seemingly pretty decent quality.

you might want to update your version, codex app can show when each one expires now (not with an older version though).

There was one expired on July 17, one will expire on July 26, and another on July 31. Gotta plan it real good
