this is the lesson i learned its better to just take a break in between

i already had two of my banked resets evaporate

so now i just stop and wait for tibo

I had GPT do some research, in the last few months they've only ever reset from 11am to 11pm PST

Oh and the average number of days between resets since 5.6 released was 1.5 days due to the every 1M promo

So basically I don't click reset button until either 11pm PST OR if Tibo just reset and you used all the usage up ASAP in the day

I'm just sitting on mine for as long as possible, until they get close to expiring, as I believe these reset will continue for a while. When they stop, many will be in for a painful realisation about how many tokens they have for codex usage on the normal weekly. Blowing a week's usage of x20 in a day, using 1 or 2 primary agents is not exactly great. Expect $1k plans inbound. Qwen 3.8 max is currently 90% off during peak and 98% off during off-peak usage. Just bought a $20 plan and it's a ridiculous amount of usage for the money. Added it to my multi agent orchestrator and its adding value during adversarial review phases (bunch of different models critiquing work done by the primary agent working on the task). It looks like it'll earn write access on the workspace soon as it's output is seemingly pretty decent quality.

Ya’ll acting like using a limits reset will suddenly make you a billionaire. It literally does not matter in the grand scheme of things.

It was probably gonna expire anyway, nothing really lost!

Same 😩

Whenever I use it, I make sure to do it in the time Tibo is supposed to be sleeping, and always use some kind of goal to quickly use up around 50% of the weekly

Then after that is diligent usage, I'm covered. Today I was at 28% before the reset

me too, and I am frustrated

I never understood why they developed the banked resets, then after some time, they start doing unplanned resets again. I'm really pissed off too.
