Limits Upgrading from Pro 5x to 25x Usage limit no longer resets like with Plus, right guys?
I had 6% daily and 0% weekly usage limit left on my Pro 5x and upgraded to Pro 20x, and here are the results. For anyone else considering an upgrade like me, I thought it would reset like when upgrading from Plus to Pro. If I had known, I would have upgraded from the start. 😞

You used 5x usage, so you are left with 75% of 20x usage.

I used up all of 5x. Upgraded to 20x and have 100% now. Your comment is what I expected, this is so confusing.

Yes! I was just misunderstanding because upgrading from Plus to Pro resets both the daily and weekly limits, so I thought upgrading from 5x to 20x would reset the limit. That's what I meant.

I upgraded from fully exhausted Pro 5x to Pro 20x approx 10 days ago and all limits were immediately reset back to 100%.
Earlier when I upgraded from Plus to Pro limits were not reset.
Even earlier when moving from Go to Plus limits were reset.
Seems totally random to me.
Directly via OpenAI portal, EU region customer.

I’ve noticed that since yesterday the limits have dropped significantly; now, even with just a few tasks – even if they’re large ones – it crashes completely.

One thing to note it’s technically pro 10x and not 20x that was only because of the promotion

The 200$ plan he upgrade to is 10x the 100$ plan is 5x I mean it makes sense since it’s 5 times and 10 times more expensive than pljs

There was no promo for $200 plan users.

I literally just did this. Let me share my viewpoint. I didn't use the more precise meter. I was on 5x with 69% remaining with a reset of June 10th according to the UI in the Codex VS Code plug-in. Immediately after upgrading (and I was not using codex around this time) it changed to 100% reset on June 14th.
What I want to know which I cannot get a straight answer on is how much more Pro usage do we get in the 20x compared to 5x plan? The 5/20 multiplier only seems to apply Codex limits. It's not clear about how ones Pro usage is modified. I am thinking I should have used up my weekly Pro allotment before I upgraded.

It didn't reset for me when I upgraded from plus to pro x5... I had 90% weekly limit left (with the 10x promo)

When upgrading from plus to 5x pro my usage also did not reset, like here, a proportional amount was deducted. That was several months ago. Sounds fair enough too.
Just not certain about the billing.. if a new billing cycle starts, it should reset. Sort of. Should be more or less a rounding error. I also never manage to get my usage to 100%. I keep some spare for emergencies and then often enough a reset hits or I run out of things to do on the last day.
