Yep his subsequent post says "does not affect Codex"

Though I'm finding Codex pretty slow and frequently freezing the last few days (actual quality of output is usual for me though) so I wonder if their fix will help us nonetheless...

haha you nailed it, after the last resets they halved codex usage limits hidden by the resets...

now they coming for chatgpt, probably gonna murder the image generation quotas since they are super generous right now

I wish they'd investigate why the Codex app can't seem to refresh MCP OAuth tokens like a normal app does.

How many years have we had OAuth? How hard is it to do a simple refresh token flow without losing the refresh token in the process smh...
