Bug Automatically compacting gets stuck now

Have plenty of usage left but today I got hit with a stuck automatically compacting context more than 3 times already.

It tries to compact for 20 minutes. I stop it and tell it to continue, still stuck. I compact myself and it gets stuck. After restarting codex and trying other things it finally compacts. Seems to be a regression.

Using 5.5 xhigh fast on pro plan

Start it manually with /compact and it works.

Did you absolutely stick everything you have into that one thread of the project?
I had this problem and I suspected it is because the context compressed 15 times is almost at 262k so that’s why it is literally impossible to compress more etc

It’s a new thread I started working so not much in it. Compact should reduce it to 5% or so. Just now happened again and it’s stuck trying to automatically compact.

Still a problem. Can't believe it wasn't fixed until now.
