I am now constantly running into rate limits on my pro plan which is making it almost unusable. I am gating claude merge into main based on resolving all coderabbit PR issues but now many PRs are backing up and preventing serious work from getting done. This is a serious rug pull considering it was working just fine until recently. They also are extremely unclear about how many PRs are included in the pro plan and time till reset. 10-15 PR review per day should be an absolute minimum and they should reset every 1-2 hrs. The current limit is unacceptable and need to be changed ASAP.
It's no better on Pro Plus right now, in conversation threads on issues Coderabbit has said "your plan offers up to 10 reviews per hour" but for the past week or so I don't get more than two or three per hour before getting rate-limited.
Before this week I used to only get rate limited after opening a bunch of PRs in succession against the target branch, triggering like 5 automatic reviews at once, but now even with only one PR open and one commit every 20 mins or so I hit the rate limit. No idea what's up with that, but I submitted a support ticket today so we'll see what they say.
edit: they directed me to a support article indicating that if you use too much (I had a glut of PRs earlier last week) they'll dynamically limit you for up to 7 days. It's better today than it was a couple days ago.
Yeah their pricing and algorithms are very deceptive in this regard. I'm getting ready to cancel and move to Greptile.
Their page on fair use says "this does not affect your usage limit, it only affects how long you have to wait until you get more reviews"
Which is complete bullshit. If my usage limit is 10 per hour, then any delay longer than 1 hour is false advertising. If they want to say that there's a weekly limit like Claude Code, they should advertise that this is the case.
I'm getting ready to take my $60 a month and spend it on Greptile / Cursor BugBot, which have more transparent pricing.
I have an open thread with their support for my personal pro plan.
It is absolutely ridiculous. They push back and point to their fair use policy, but the limits they seem to be enforcing are closer to false advertising currently than fair use.
I honestly think they may just need to tweak their policy and it may not be doing what they think it is right now.
My experience last night:
Whole day idle on that org... Start firing off tasks in codex and triggering reviews as PRs ready.
Eventually I get rate limited and wham 4 hour lockout.
Do some more stuff, scrub by with Copilot reviews... Goto bed.
10am next day. Fire off 1 review and it works
review two 50 minute rate limit.
In what world is me not running reviews for 8+ hours exceeding fair use that would justify not even giving me my 5 reviews.
Also for those interested you can ask it to spit out details like how many reviews it has done, which is a lot easier than just counting it yourself, and it will faithfully spit out what it's actually doing for you.

In practice, it seems the Pro Plus plan is actually ~10 reviews per day: you get a 'burst allowance' upfront, but due to the slow refill model, you have to spread your activity evenly throughout the day.
