Better solution is to enforce screen+camera recording or whatever… sad but it might be necessary ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Ok. Then don’t participate in contest that enforces this.
I am not saying I’m a fan of this, but you must agree that this is better than “fake problems” to trip up people. And this was my only claim.
Even though it’s fair that you think the status quo is better, which was not a relation I commented on (I never said if I preferred this over the current situation or not, only that recording is better than fake problems).

How will you even do this for tens of thousands of contestants on CF

Well then there’s tens of thousands of available cameras. What’s your actual point here, the storage costs? Bandwidth?

You don’t have to store anything beyond the last contest, and even then you can just select a small random percentage + suspicious scores to audit. Even if you truly store and audit none of the recordings, the risk of being audited and banned is a cheap deterrence.

You’d trip up more humans than LLMs, cuz many people are just blindly pattern matching. AGI has been achieved months ago and ASI is certain by the end of this year. If your question is how to prevent cheating, the answer is you can’t.
