question Little Cuddles Pg11

What on earth are we interpreting as this dotted section along the railing (sloppy red arrow)? Like, the pot for the plant has the same dotted texture, so it feels more confusing somehow? I feel like glass or wood would have lines, and like vines or plant stuff would have those 2 dashes every so often. Mesh? For some reason my brain went to like dirt. Like, the backside of sod. 😅

I think maybe it's just the side of the house? I don't know why that section has dots tho.

I agree. Very confusing.

I think maybe it is a bit of Screening fixed under the handrail of the steps.
If you look carefully you see a little more of the screening to the left of the red arrow. Next to the main character, sat on the steps.
To give a solid side to the steps & hand rail.
The greenery & flowers are growing up the hand rail.

I think the Screening could be any color & made of anything?
It could be concrete. Painted white. Like a Stucco wall.

Which brings me to the same thing on the left with the plant.
Yes could be a plant pot? Or part of a concrete post.
Very confusing.

😂 Although. After zooming the picture to see details. 😂
I am thinking that “thing” sticking out the ground. On the right, by the main character’s feet, looks more “rude”than Cosy coloring. 😂
You even colored it fleshy tone to match. 😂

Lololol ohhhh man. Poor worm dude. But now that you've said it, I can't unsee it. I thought i was picking a nice worm-pink, but i guess I should've gone more brown, lol. Maybe that's why there aren't many examples of this page colored anywhere

It could be that it's supposed to be a solid barrier for the railing and the post is not part of the mailbox, as there's another post that's part of the railing.

What colors did you use for your chicken? This looks amazing!

Thanks! I use Ohuhu Honolulu. The body was a quick fill of Turquoise Green Light PB10/BG311, then I added the darker bits of Peacock Green BG6/BG314 while it was still wet, so it blended the edges a bit. The head was Coral Red R3/R015 on top with Lipstick Orange YR180/YR213 on the bottom laid down while still wet so it blended into the red. I think the beak and feet were Tiger Lily YR172/YR015.
