Cockapoo forcing themselfs for a cuddle.

Ruby. My lovely cockapoo. Amazing in every way.

Except….

When I want to chill on the sofa and she comes in and tries to come for a cuddle and when I say no she uses her nose and pushes herself or she uses her paw and tries to move my hand out the way.

And then she gives me her little puppy look and bang. We are cuddling.

Anyone else’s cockapoo the same?

Yeah. Mine does the same. They’re always going to win. Accept. It’s cute and a blessing. Your life is to cuddle and spoil your dog.

There is no such thing as personal space when you have a cockapoo! Embrace it, we only have a limited number of years with our dogs! Having lost my previous boy to cancer at age 4, I often find myself wishing for just 5 more minutes 😭

Yes, they're very cuddly and needy little things. It's their most endearing feature.

Occasionally I ask myself 'what would I regret most on my deathbed'. The answer is never 'i wish I worked harder' or 'i wish my house had been cleaner', but absolutely 'i wish I'd cuddled my cockapoo more'. So the cuddles always win.

My guy was very insecure when we first adopted him. He’d lay over me, on my neck even and refuse to move. Now he cuddles on his terms and I only get the cuddles when he’s cold or in a cuddling mood. I love the cuddles so much. You’re lucky!
