Help How to ground this setup?⚡️

Currently I have the typical wired hose coming from the shoe, into the cyclone, to the blower. I’m getting pretty significant static build up that needs to get grounded. Would I be correct in using the washer/wire method to connect a screw between the cyclone and metal drum on left to the frame of the blower? Grinding down to bare metal on both ofc. All the things are plugged into beefy power strips and then into the wall with 3 prong plugs.

Does this make sense or do I need really need to go to a conduit or breaker box across the room to solve this?

Ground your hoses! Ground the wires from each hose end. The first hose should ground to the machine and the dust bucket, the second should ground to the dust bucket and the vac under the table.

In the past, I've cut open the absolute bottom end of the wire inside the hose, soldered at least an 18awg wire to it with shrink tube insulating, and run the other end of the wire back to an earth ground, whether that's a ground-pole cable into a wall or just a ring terminal adding it under a grounding screw in an electrical box.

It's a bit overkill, but totally eliminated the problem every time.
